TNUoS reform explorer

An interactive map and tariff explorer for the GB transmission charging reforms — how the proposals change the cost of where you build.

Transmission Network Use of System (TNUoS) charges are one of the strongest — and least understood — signals deciding where new generation gets built in Great Britain. They are also being reformed, which could move a lot of money around the map.

What I’m building: an interactive GB map and tariff explorer that lets you see how zonal generation and demand charges look today, what the proposed reforms would do to them, and what that means for the economics of building in the north versus the south.

Status: in progress — I’m pulling the charging data together and sketching the map. Check back soon.
